ABOUT ME

Born in Switzerland, he was immersed in art and music from an early age. He began playing saxophone before school, inspired by the local big band, and later played in jazz and funk bands including one at the Basel University's jazz conservatory. After an intense chapter as a competitive climber, an injury led him to documentary filmmaking, capturing the stories of local athletes through visuals. He soon transitioned into filmmaking, working on shorts, commercials, and features, including co-producing and working as director of photography on his first feature film, SEPTEMBER BABIES (2024). He now works as a freelance director of photography, treating each job as a chance to raise the bar and deliver story-first cinematography across film, documentary, and commercial productions.
